Shader System Sample: Switching to PSSM3 shadows crashes the application

Description

This does not seem specific to any Render System, it happened to be with both OpenGL and DirectX9.
Can be easily reproduced by starting the sample, and trying to switch to PSSM3.

Environment

Windows 7 64-bit, GeForce 580 GTX, Compiled with MinGW GCC 4.7.0
